Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian and Gareth Evans have put together another fine Silat-based CQC martial arts battlefest. Some memorable character performaces, excellent fight choreography, and blood in the Indonesian snow. The plot and story are meandering but the fights are islands of action and save this from being a contrived and tortuous journey. I hope to see Iko Uwais continue making badass Silat flicks.
